Internships and Volunteer Opportunities at WE ACT- DC Office
WE ACT proudly offers internships throughout the year to well-qualified college, graduate, and law school students. Interns work directly with the Federal Policy Analyst on projects designed to broaden WE ACT’s impact while broadening our interns’ experience and expertise, and assist with coordinating the activities of the Environmental Justice Leadership Forum on Climate Change.
As members of the WE ACT team, interns participate in staff meetings, receive mentorship and networking opportunities, and may even get a chance to represent WE ACT at events.
WE ACT hires interns on an as-needed basis, and internship positions may be posted on the website. However, interested applicants may request to have their information kept on file for internships as they become available. Such applicants should submit a resume, cover letter, and contact information for at least one professional or academic reference to Dr. Jalonne L. White-Newsome, firstname.lastname@example.org.
